Penelope The Princess is a children’s book by MaryAnne Thornton and is available for purchase on this site, and at all major retailers beginning December 7th. In Penelope the Princess, she finds herself in a colorful kingdom where a Princess is expected to behave like a Princess should. So when Penelope shows up at the royal luncheon dressed in only her underwear, the royals are given quite a shock! But Penelope is undaunted by their reaction and  quickly teaches the entire kingdom that it’s okay to be different!

Author MaryAnne Thornton resides in Charlottesville Va with her husband, four children, four beautiful grandchildren and her beloved Labradoodle, Hazel! When she is not writing children’s books, she works at the community theatre she has owned since 1986 acting as it’s director, set/costume designer and occassional playwright!
